De vernieuwde “Whiteboard” is vloeiender, preciezer en drukgevoelige. Dit wordt met name gesmaakt door gebruikers van touchscreens en (teken)tablets. De bediening van 3CX web conference platform is nu intuïtiever dankzij het markeren van deelvensters tijdens het navigeren.

Kwaliteitsmeldingen krijgt u wanneer een verminderde videokwaliteit wordt veroorzaakt door down- of upload problemen o.a. door een gebrek aan bandbreedte. Een melding bevat alle informatie over eventuele oorzaken welke u kan remediëren of de melding negeren met een klik. Basic of advanced gebruikers kunnen navigeren naar WebMeeting “Instellingen” > “Netwerk” voor meer informatie en statistieken om problemen op te lossen.

Voor betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en technische mogelijkheden, worden relevante conferentiegegevens korte tijd bewaard op Google’s hosting platform in Europa. Om aan de groeiende vraag te voldoen, worden onze conferentieservers, of MCU’s, nu gehost in Amazon datacenters over de hele wereld. Deze bevinden zich in Australië, Brazilië, Canada, Frankrijk, Duitsland, Rusland, Zuid-Afrika, Singapore, Verenigd Koninkrijk, Verenigde Staten, Vietnam en binnenkort ook India. Er is altijd een server in de buurt.

  • Added low bandwidth notification dialogs.
  • Added the ability to automatically or manually disable one’s video only if the necessary meeting bandwidth is unavailable via the bandwidth notification dialogs.
  • Fixed an issue where Dial In DID’s would not appear in the user invite UI.

  • “Remote Control” functionality will no longer be shown during Webinars so as to prevent abuse and interruptions of webinars.

  • Added a call reconnection mechanism in case the PBX bridge to MCU connection was dropped for any reason.
  • Firefox doesn’t allow switching audio outputs (Speakers/Headphones etc) while an output is already in use. This is now properly indicated in the Settings > Multimedia UI.
  • Fixed backend errors related to Dial-In and malformated RTP packets.
  • Normalized audio levels for dial-in users.
  • Fixed WebRTC related issues that would sometimes cause users’ bitrates to fluctuate slightly above the maximum send limit.

  • Added an “Automatic” MCU selector for all users using a V16 PBX as the default setting. Users with versions lower than V16 will default to Frankfurt and

  • Fixed meeting report issues where in rare situations some data would be incorrect.
  • Changed the “Kick” functionality to now cause users to be removed from a meeting instantaneously instead of removing users after a 3 second timer + explanation dialog.

  • Fixed an issue where “On-Hold” music could sometimes be heard when someone dials in.

  • Fixed a white theme issue where white names were overlaid on a white background.
  • Fixed issues and made improvements related to back-end MCU meeting failover speed.
  • Fixed an issue where a small flicker/freezing of the chat and whiteboard UI could sometimes be noticed under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the chat popover dialog would not appear for reactions in the chat.
  • Added support for both Opus mono and stereo, each to be used under very specific conditions.
  • Fixed a server side issue related to the Webinar plugin where changing the extension in the plugin would not load the new meetings.
  • Improvements to backend services related to recordings. Recordings can now be sent to customers up to 50 times faster.
  • Improvements and limitations to the amount of calls that can initiate a Dial-In to prevent abuse.
  • Fixed an issue with the TURN connection protocol causing users not to properly connect or to have media related issues.
  • Meeting audio quality for PC participants will no longer drop to G.722 when a user dials in to a meeting. Opus will always be used.
